I went to my gynecologist for my annual exam this week, only to find out that the BC pill I have been taking for about 4 years, Alesse, is not being made anymore. I am not really sure what to do about this, I have a month and a half of pills left, but obviously I am going to have to switch to something else. This upsets me because Alesse works for me, and I am used to it already. Lutera, which is supposedly the generic version of Alesse was recommended, but I am just not sure. I want a pill, and I want to have my period each month, I am not down with skipping those. Any idea why they stopped making Alesse, and any suggestions on what I should try to take next? Also, any tips on switching to a different pill? Any help would be fabulous. Thanks in advance!
